Karthik Poduval, AKA Mera Bhai is a multi-instrumentalist, producer & DJ best known as a founding member of Psych band Flamingods & part of the Internal team of Asian Underground collective Daytimers. Hard to pin down, Mera Bhai is centred on a musical balance, taking influence from Indian Carnatic to Tropicalia and Disco, with a heavy dose of Acid House, Detroit techno and breaks on top.
His debut EP ‘Futureproofing’, was released on Moshi Moshi Records in October 2020 and features guest appearances and collaborations including Alxndr London, Andrew Ashong, Alex White (Fat White Family) & Charles Prest (Flamingods). Mera Bhai’s sophomore EP ‘Relax Into Yourself’ is due in spring 2023 on his brand new imprint, Morning Raga Recordings.
