ANT(X)-3-72

Add N to (X) were a three piece band from London with a penchant for vintage analogue synthesizers and proto-electronica. Formed in 1994 and initially consisting of Ann Shenton, Barry Smith and Andrew Aveling, the latter being replaced by Steve Claydon in 1997, Add N to (X) made five albums of highly unconventional, profoundly evocative, ideas based electronic music.

Aside from their heavy use of analogue synthesizers, the band became best known for the fetishistic nature of their songs and the sexually provocative videos that accompanied them. Add N to (X) disbanded in 2003.
