Ian Masterson is an accomplished and prolific media composer, electronic musician and pop producer. He has produced and remixed for a range of pop acts including Girls Aloud, Kylie Minogue, Atomic Kitten, Gerri Halliwell, Bananarama, Pet Shop Boys, Dannii Minogue, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Paul Oakenfold.

Ian has worked extensively in film and TV producing score work for the BBC, ITV, Sky and Channel 4, as well as for a wealth of independent production companies. He has scored comedies such as Absolutely Fabulous, The Windsors, The Job Lot, Psychobitches and Beautiful People, and co-wrote the songs for The League of Gentlemen’s 2018 tour. He has also scored over 40 documentaries, including Suede: The Insatiable Ones, New Order: Decades, Hansa Studios: By The Wall and the seminal Jump London and Jump Britain Parkour films.

Ian scored the film that opened the 2012 Paralympic Games, was Music Producer for the Queen’s Coronation 60th Anniversary Concerts at Buckingham Palace and is currently Music Producer on BBC Strictly Come Dancing.
