Mclusky

Mclusky are no more but at their peak the Cardiff three-piece may have been the best noise-rock band in the world. The band were formed in 1996 under the name Best but changed their name to Mclusky in 1999. Before their eventual break up in 2005, the band released three full length albums; their 2000 debut ‘My Pain and Sadness is More Sad and Painful Than Yours’, the critically acclaimed follow up ‘Mclusky Do Dallas’ in 2002 and their third album ‘The Difference Between Me and You is That I’m Not on Fire’ in 2004.

Mclusky’s combination of unbridled confrontational noise, canny angular melodies and sharp witted lyrics helped the band establish a very loyal following and create a strong undoubtedly long lasting legacy.
