The Norwich based duo of Sink Ya Teeth are Maria Uzor and Gemma Cullingford.

Weaving threads from post-punk, Chicago house, and 80s/90s dance music, Sink Ya Teeth’s sound pays homage to the minimalism of early 80s dance music, but with a playfulness that swings effortlessly between groove and gloom.

Formed at the tail end of 2015, the pair write, record and produce all their music from their living rooms. Too impatient to wait for a label to sign them, Uzor and Cullingford self-released their debut album in the Summer of 2018 to great reviews in the press and support from BBC 6 Music and Radio 1.
