Singing Adams began in 2005 as a lo-fi solo side-project of Steven Adams, vocalist with The Broken Family Band, but when BFB broke up in 2009  Singing Adams became ‘a proper band’ with Adams being joined by Melinda Bronstein, Matt Ashton and Michael Wood.

The bands first album, Everybody Friends Now was in the UK and Europe through Records Records Records in 2011.

Upon release Uncut magazine proclaimed it a “terrific debut”.
