Tony Remy

Tony Remy is a talented jazz guitarist from Great Britain whose inventive rhythmically driven approach to his instrument makes him one of the world’s most exciting guitar players of any genre.

Remy started out playing in a number of both jazz and rock bands in the mid 80’s, before releasing his first solo album ‘Boof’ in 1993 on the American Jazz/fusion label GRP. His 1997 follow up album ‘Metamorfollow-G’ was released on Alltone Records.

Live on stage, his relentless creativity and incredible raw energy has gained Remy an impressive reputation within the jazz community worldwide and he has toured and recorded with a wide range of musicians including Courtney Pine, Annie Lennox, Jason Rebello, Freddy Hubbard, Simply Red, Gary Barlow and Jean Toussaint.
