Ralf Hildenbeutel is an award-winning producer and film composer with a style shaped as much by his eclectic background as by his classical education in piano and composition and his obsession for electronic music.
Throughout a varied career, Hildenbeutel has collaborated with artists such as Sven Väth, Laith Al-Deen, Andreas Bourani & Chris Liebing as well as producing remixes for Depeche Mode, Anne Clark, Robert Palmer, Enigma, and Yello.
Hildenbeutel has also worked extensively in film, scoring several feature films including the award-winning “Hommage á Noir” (golden medal at the New York Festival, 1996), “Vincent will meer” (“Deutscher Filmpreis”, 2012), and international productions such as the Italian limited series “Maltese” and “La Guerra è Finita”.
His music for the short movie “Momentum” received various awards such as “Cinedans” and the nomination for best music at the “Newport International Filmfestival”. For his score “Eine Villa mit Pinien” he won the “Goldene Reiter” at the esteemed Filmfest Dresden. The movie “Something Evil becomes Us” was selected for the Cannes Short Film Corner 2020 and his music for “Afterword”, a multiple awarded and acclaimed short movie by Boris Seewald has been nominated for best music at the Lisbon Film Award.
