Big Deal is a project of Alice Costelloe and Kacey Underwood, creating music built around two voices and two guitars, with a stripped-back approach that emphasizes intimacy and tonal contrast. Their songwriting blends gauzy, minimal textures with emotionally direct vocal interplay, often balancing contrast between hushed and luminous delivery. The duo’s early work established a distinctive minimalist sound that prioritises emotional immediacy and melodic clarity over traditional band arrangement.
