Billy Bultheel
Billy Bultheel is a Belgian-born, Berlin-based composer, performer and producer whose work explores spatial composition, theatrical form and interdisciplinary performance.
His practice often integrates music with installation, sculpture and performance art, creating site-responsive works that examine the relationship between historical musical structures and contemporary sonic expression.
Drawing on influences ranging from Renaissance and early Baroque traditions to noise, metal and experimental electronics, his compositions frequently engage ideas of contrast, density and confrontation in sound.
Bultheel has collaborated with artists including Anne Imhof, Eliza Douglas, Alexander Iezzi and Michele Rizzo.
