Camberwell Now

Camberwell Now were a London-based avant-prog ensemble formed from the aftermath of This Heat, uniting drummer-vocalist Charles Hayward, bassist-vocalist Trefor Goronwy and sound technician Stephen Rickard, later joined by saxophonist Maria Lamburn. Their music combines experimental rock, tape manipulation, field recordings and improvisation, creating atmospheric, challenging compositions extending their predecessor’s exploratory ethos.
