Dave Ball

Dave Ball (1959 – 2025) was an English electronic producer and musician, best known as one half of Soft Cell with Marc Almond and co-founder of The Grid with Richard Norris. Ball was influential in shaped synth-pop and electronic dance music through how work with Sof Cell, most notably on recordings such as “Tainted Love” and “Say Hello, Wave Goodbye”.
