Drahla

Drahla are a Leeds-based post-punk and art-rock band consisting of Luciel Brown, Rob Riggs, and Mike Ainsley. Their work combines angular instrumentation with a tense, exploratory approach to composition, shaped by an interest in abstraction, perception, and fragmented narrative. Brown’s lyrics draw from observations, notes, and poetic forms, assembled into layered, non-linear imagery that complements the band’s shifting sonic structures. Their releases, including the albums Useless Coordinates & angeltape, reflect a precise yet unpredictable musical language.
