Emit Bloch

American country beatnik Emit Bloch creates lo-fi bluegrass rooted in voice, guitar and harmonica, blending traditional song structures with narrative lyricism, dry wit and understated melancholy. Drawing on the lineage of Hank Williams, Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan, Bloch is best known for his debut album ‘Dictaphones Vol. 1′ which was recorded at home from his kitchen table for the princely sum of just £6 – all tracks recorded directly to Dictaphone.
