Fad Gadget

Fad Gadget are a British avant-garde electronic group widely regarded as pioneers of post-punk electronic music and an enduring influence on subsequent generations of experimental artists. Signed as the first artist to Daniel Miller’s Mute label in 1979, Fad Gadget emerged alongside early innovators such as The Human League, Cabaret Voltaire, and Throbbing Gristle, contributing to the development of electronic music at a time when it remained outside the mainstream. Across four critically acclaimed albums, Fad Gadget built a cult following defined by both his uncompromising live performances and his radical approach to sound and songwriting, with key works including “Back to Nature,” “Ricky’s Hand,” “Collapsing New People,” and “Luxury.”
