Joni

Joni is the project of singer-songwriter Joni Fatora, creating intimate indie rock shaped by influences from 1960s Tropicália and early-2000s indie. Raised across Italy, Japan, and Connecticut as the daughter of a submariner, she studied piano and woodwinds before turning to guitar-based songwriting. After years writing for other artists in New York and Los Angeles and performing alongside artists including Laura Veirs and Dan Croll, she relocated to London and refocused on her own music. Her releases, including the EP Orchid Room and her debut album Things I Left Behind, explore memory, transition, and personal growth.
