Laura Cannell

Laura Cannell is a British composer and multi-instrumentalist whose work bridges early music traditions and contemporary experimental composition, drawing inspiration from landscape, history and the textures of medieval sound worlds. Working primarily with violin and recorders, she creates minimalist, often improvisatory pieces that reimagine fragments of ancient and liturgical music through a modern lens, blending acoustic resonance with raw, elemental tone.
