Louis Philippe

Louis Philippe is the stage name of Philippe Auclair, a French singer, songwriter, arranger and producer whose work is characterised by finely crafted, melodic pop with a subtle lyrical edge. Raised in Normandy and later based in Paris and London, he studied and taught philosophy before beginning his recording career under the name The Border Boys, followed by work with The Arcadians and a series of solo releases. Alongside his solo work, he has contributed as a songwriter and producer for other artists, with a style often described as intelligent, optimistic pop shaped by precision and nuance.
