LYR (also known as L.Y.R) is a genre-splicing British band formed by UK Poet Laureate Simon Armitage, singer-songwriter Richard Walters, and multi-instrumentalist producer Patrick Pearson, known for their blend of cinematic post-rock, jazz-inflected instrumentation, and spoken-word poetry.
