Nick Cave & Warren Ellis
Nick Cave and Warren Ellis are an Australian musical partnership whose long-standing collaboration spans post-punk, experimental rock, and acclaimed film composition. Working together across multiple decades, they have developed a distinctive shared language defined by emotional intensity, dynamic contrast, and atmospheric depth, moving between abrasive, high-energy soundscapes and sparse, introspective arrangements. Ellis, a multi-instrumentalist known for his textural violin work and looping techniques, has been a key member of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and co-founded the project Grinderman with Cave. Together, they have composed scores for a range of films, including The Proposition, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, The Road, Wind River, and Back to Black, and have also released original collaborative recordings under their own name.B207
