Royal Trux

Royal Trux is the influential rock duo formed by Jennifer Herrema and Neil Hagerty, recognised for a singular approach that fused blues, punk, noise, psychedelia and experimental rock into a sound both genre-defying and deeply referential. Emerging from the underground scenes of Washington, D.C. and New York, the group developed a distinctive musical identity across albums including ‘Twin Infinitives’, ‘Cats and Dogs’ and ‘Pound for Pound’. Known for unconventional structures, lo-fi textures and a fiercely individual aesthetic, Royal Trux remains widely regarded as a formative influence on alternative and independent rock music.
