Born in Gernika in 1985, musician and sound design scholar, Aitor Etxebarria, combines acoustic and electronic instruments. An example of this is his latest symphonic work premiered by the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra and the Grammy-winning percussionist Evelyn Glennie.
Among his recent projects, noteworthy are the soundtracks for the first series produced by Pedro Almodóvar, “Mentiras Pasajeras,” and the acclaimed Netflix series by Arcadia Motion Pictures, “El Cuerpo en Llamas”.
