Poppy & The Jezebels are a unique, but quintessentially English, indie-pop all-girl four piece from Birmingham who met while all at the same comprehensive school. Their first 7″ single in 2007 sold out within a week of release and they followed this with shows, tv appearances, radio sessions and fashion shoots up and down the country, before releasing the mini album ‘Follow Me Down’ later in the year.
With continuing critical acclaim and their star quickly rising, the single ‘UFO’ appeared in 2008 emphasizing the progression in their clever yet devastatingly cool sound. Showing ability way beyond their years, Poppy & The Jezebels are destined for great things.
