Amy Spencer is a singer, songwriter, producer and collaborator. Her new electronic ambient project Ammonite, is inspired by limitation, created using only vocals and electronic processing. Ammonite’s debut release Blueprints came out on Ransom Note last year, and followed with remixes from David Holmes (Amy also did a remix for his Blind On A Galloping Horse Remixes Vol. 2), Salamanda and more.
Her song “ARP” was used for Dior’s Autumn/Winter runway in June 2024, it was covered by publications including CLASH, Bandcamp, Electronic Sound, FAZE, and was played on the radio by BBC 6 Music, KEXP, Deutschlandfunk Kultur and many more. She also opened for Rosie Lowe at ICA and Olivia Chaney in 2024, and puts on the ambient electronic night Unravel for up and coming artists at The Albany Studio in Deptford.
Prior to her work as Ammonite, Amy released three EPs as Charlotte Spiral with collaborator Avi Barath (Loyle Carner, Jai Paul, Lola Young) which were produced with Dan Carey and Dave Okumu. Amy has also worked with established artists Bicep, Motsa, TVAM, DC Gore & more, and has several exciting collaborations in the works.
