Billy J. Bultheel is a Belgian born, Berlin-based composer, performer, and producer whose musical practice is occupied with notions of spatiality and theatricality.

Working mainly on site-specific projects and multi-media installations, Bultheel‘s work brings together elements of sculpture, performance art and music. He is interested in gestures of brutal polyphony and seeks the confrontation between Renaissance and early Baroque on the one hand, and noise, metal and experimental electronics on the other.

Bultheel has collaborated with artists like Anne Imhof, Eliza Douglas, Alexander Iezzi, and Michele Rizzo, among others. His music is released on the Berlin-based record label PAN.
