Ilyas Ahmed is a musician and artist based in the United States. For over a decade he has been releasing records of spectral dream folk to great acclaim. His music exists at the nexus between experimental drone/ambient and classic singer/songwriter gestures.
In addition to his prolific solo output, Ilyas has collaborated with Liz Harris (Grouper) and the band Golden Retriever under the moniker Dreamboat.
Ilyas lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
