Danish-born Jonas Colstrup has an established reputation as a composer of music for television, feature films, and documentaries.
Some of his most acclaimed work includes the score music for ‘The Square’, which won the 2013 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for World Cinema in the documentary, garnered three Emmys, and was nominated for a 2014 Academy Award. In 2019 Colstrup was been awarded the Carl Nielsen Award, as the Composer of the Year for the music to ‘False Confessions’ film.
Aside from his work as a composer for a picture, Colstrup released his debut album as an artist in 2017, ‘Between Sound and Silence’ with music for piano, strings, and organ.
