Sleepy Sun are a heavy psychedelic rock band from San Francisco.
Originally formed in 2005 in the “occult influenced creative community” of Santa Cruz, California, the band spent years honing their craft before moving north to San Francisco.
Their music is a dynamic mix of bluesy psychedelia, fragile desert folk and interstellar acid rock characterized by a swirling expanse of fuzzy guitars, throbbing rhythm section, and hypnotic, echo drenched vocals.
